Buck minimum of 9 years old
I've been following this buck for the last six years, and at that point I am certain he was at a minimum of 3 years old and likely older. But this old buck for many years had pretty much closed down an area that we liked to hunt, seemingly keeping everyone else out of the small pocket. So much so, that the previous year, I was going to try convincing someone to just get him shot in order for others to feel free to travel this ridge. But, somehow, he advanced this year, and his main beam took a turn down, making much better of a trophy. Cosmo Costa, a long time repeat customer was thrilled with this buck. On a secondary note, this is the second largest bodied deer I had ever seen. Would have loved to have thrown this buck on a scale.
