Nebraska North Platte River Shines
This would be year three of operating these waterfowl hunts along the North Platte River in western Nebraska, and they just continue to get better and better. We continue to tweak this hunt by adding decoys, new blinds, and more then anything, just getting to understand the area and the birds. With Nebraska's drought, the river was down considerably pushing a much larger then normal sandbar in front of us which put us at a disadvantage when it came to decoying ducks, but gave much more room to put over 300 decoys out daily, proving to be the right medicine on the Canadas.
