No time to waste
Needing to get into bait a fly-in location, we were flirting with the needed pre-hunt time frame to get baits baited prior to our first fly-in bear hunters would arrive, but we are always dependant on the spring thaw to allow plus an available plane. Well that would happen, just a day before we were supposed to head to Alberta. I had told our tagged out hunters at the lodge that one of them could go with me, and to make it fair, we would draw for this. I knew I was going to be crimped for time, and was hoping for someone younger to draw, but 70 year old Bill Zenyuk from NJ would draw! Through the course of the week at the lodge, I could tell Bill was what I call a 'worker,' but still at his age, I thought, he'd slow me down. Boy was I wrong. Absolutely love working beside someone like this, and Bill rocked it, as we had no time to waste before the plane returned to get us. Sure think the world of persons like Bill, whom have worked hard all their lives.
