Action Heats Up

Action Heats Up

October 03, 2023 by

Perhaps the most common question asked when persons are looking to book a bear hunt, is when is the best time of year.  In the spring, you will see far fewer bears early in May, but the big bears are much more consistent on a bait.  Problem is, often times they are by themselves at that bait, and they will be so much smarter, often down winding the hunters.  Get into later May and June, the action simply heats up with overall bear numbers, but there again, the big guys get less consistent as they are snooping out area sites for sows.  So often the case, they simply come into a bait, fill their belly and off and running again.  Your call, but regardless, I always have a plan for every week of the season to get it done.
