North Platte River in Nebraska never disappoints
May not have shot as many ducks as normal, but we sure put a dent in the geese this season. After an already crazy busy fall season that begins in early August, this final leg to the year is met with beyond excitement. I've always been in love with the Platte River in Nebraska, and this water hunting brings me right back to my growing up years. It is just so hard to beat moving water, and hunting waterfowl over WATER. Could be 10,000 mallards in a nearby cornfield, but I'd choose hunting over water any day of the week to going and hunting over the top of a robo decoy in a field. For those that continue to come to western Nebraska, I am pretty sure most can attest to the fun of this hunt.
